AMERICAN ARTIST (1940 - present). Provides information on art techniques and methods, organizations, business and commercial opportunities.
APERTURE (1977 – 78, 1982 – present). Publication that emphasizes photography as art.
ARCHITECTURAL RECORD (1960 – present). Magazine focusing on architecture in areas of business, design and engineering.
ARTNEWS (1960 - present). Covers American contemporary art (trends, critiques, exhibits, sales, and competitions); includes artist profiles and interviews.
SCHOOL ARTS (1952 - 2004). This is a curriculum tool and catalog for supplies that includes project ideas for various ages.
U.S. ART (1982 - 2002). Realist print art in America for collectors and enthusiasts.

Art History. Great site with information on different cultures, time periods, etc; plenty of links also.
Arts in Therapy Network. Website for Creative Arts Therapists providing links to relevant sites.
ArtLex. Definitions for more than 3,600 terms used in discussing art; with supporting images, pronunciation notes, quotations and cross-references.
The Getty-The J. Paul Getty Trust. An educational organization; integrates presentation and enjoyment of art together with its study and conservation.
Guggenheim.org. Site connects the collections in New York, Berlin, Venice and Bilbao, Spain.
Metropolitan Museum of Art. Site has over 3500 works in its online collection; includes a timeline of art history.
The Museum of Modern Art. Includes images and information about artists and art in the New York museum.
