Testimonials

Here's what some of our Students are saying about their Internet Academy classes:

Gayle - "I THINK WE ARE ALL BONDING" I have found myself totally neglecting my laundry, preparing meals for us, and doing things I should be doing......because I am anxious to get on this course and see how everyone is all the time. I think this class as a group has made a great impact on how we all think and feel, and it is just wonderful. How lucky I am to be a part of it... I can't believe what I'm learning about others and how you can learn to love and care about others just through verbal communication. What a fantastic learning experience.

Barbara - I really hate to see this one end. I found this group very easy to converse with, and exchange thoughts. I know we have bounced heads a few times, but actually Lindsay and I have e-mailed each other in the process. Neither of us took offense, and kept right on stressing our points and making remarks. I thought it was great how other students pondered over what we said, and it gave them something to think about. We all had good input, and I do think everyone has learned from this experience. We all responded well to each other, and I can't begin to comment on the sharing!! I really felt we were not just students this semester, but open and sharing friends. This was a first for me with such personal touches through the entire semester. I want to thank everyone for another GREAT class. Very educational and I have learned so much as always.

Jessica - I agree fully that we are all forming certain types of relationships with everyone else in the class without really knowing one another. It is great to talk in the class discussions and you really do learn things about others just by finding out what they think on certain issues. It makes us all connect by thinking processes. I love the internet classes.

Michael - It is a lot easier to communicate and freely speak your mind within this setting. Also, being honest is the best way to friendship.

Heather - I think that the way you have set up this class you have allowed for these" relationships" to develop. You can talk with people and see of they agree or disagree with you on items that you don't normally think about. It also enlightens you on different sides of those issues and allows you to look at things in another light. I think that the way this class is structured it is impossible for such relationships not to develop.

Diane - I think that we have all become good friends. This class seems to participate well with one another and support each other. I have made some great friends through these course! Gayle and Sharon I had the pleasure of meeting during our Abnormal psychology class and the friendships have continued to grow!

Saundra - I think we are all bonding. I think this is happening because of are class discussions you start to know one another.

Tracey - We all like to be liked. Students tend to disclose more about themselves if they're in a warm and pleasant environment. If a person believes she or he is liked, they will have a greater chance of being liked. We don't feel trapped or suffocated by our own words. In a relationship, it's important to be open and honest. As we go through each chapter and discuss the issues, we as a "team" are in constant change. The newness is exciting and is apparent in our class!

Sharon - I think it is easy to develop friendships in this class because we have all learned to depend on each other to help us understand the terms and technologies of this class. Having the opportunity to be open and frank with individuals creates a bond of friendship.

Betty - I can't believe it I feel like there is so many things in common with my classmates. Sometimes I nod my head too much and ones around me are always asking what is the matter. It's that I have things in common with most of the people here in this class. I have learned a lot and hope I can continue to learn more.
