Academic Advising
All entering students are assigned to an academic advisor within the student's specific curriculum. The student stays with this advisor throughout the student's tenure unless a change is made to another academic program. The College is committed to its students - they are the most important component on campus - and on the Internet. The College's strong academic advisement system reinforces that concept. It is the student's responsibility to contact the advisor, seeking the advisor's assistance when needed, and to insure that all requirements for graduation are met. The advisor's responsibility includes, but is not limited to:
- Explaining to the student the program as it relates to career and/or transfer goals
- Assisting the student in understanding the graduation requirements for the program in which the student has matriculated
- Linking the student to the college's counseling services, as needed
- Assisting the student with tasks such as scheduling, course adjustments (drop/add), academic progress, and appropriate referrals.
The table below lists the academic advisor for each Internet Academy program. Please contact your advisor on a regular basis.
