Step 2
Please request that an official copy of your high school transcript be sent to the HCCC Admissions Office. Additionally, if you’ve attended another college, contact the college and request an official transcript of your grades to be sent to the HCCC Registrar.
Step 3
After acceptance into a degree or certificate program, please complete the English Placement Exam (https://shccni.herkimer.edu/english/) before attempting to register for EN101 or EN111. The writing sample can take up to 1/2 hour to complete.
Step 4
After acceptance into a degree or certificate program, please complete the Math Placement Exam (https://shccni.herkimer.edu/math/) before attempting to register for your math courses.
The exam can take approximately 1/2 hour to complete.
