ES 100 Essentials of Writing—ESL
This course for students of English as a Second Language focuses on the development of basic writing skills including, but not limited to, the composing process, development of ideas and sentence structure.
ES 101 Intermediate Writing—ESL
This course for students of English as a Second Language will provide the intermediate students with an introduction to expository writing. Students will explore the composing process as they produce paragraphs and short essays.
ES 102 Advanced Writing—ESL
This course for students of English as a Second Language is designed to introduce elements of academic writing. Assignments emphasizing various rhetorical modes will focus student efforts of organization and development of ideas. Students will write short expository essays and will be introduced to the role of research in writing.
