ES 110  Essentials of Reading—ESL

This course for students of English as a Second Language will provide the entry level college ESL student will a review of the basics of reading from decoding to comprehension and vocabulary development.

ES 111  Intermediate Reading—ESL

This course for students of English as a Second Language will provide the intermediate level college ESL student with continued practice in basic reading skills as well an introduction to more sophisticated reading skills, including making inferences, synthesizing information and distinguishing     between facts and opinions.

ES 112  Advanced Reading—ESL

This course is designed to provide students with continued opportunities to develop vocabulary and comprehension skills.  Students will begin to study specific elements of academic reading and successful note-taking required in college degree programs.
