Registration
Registration takes place one to two weeks after the start of the fall and spring semesters in a two-step process at each high school. First, College staff will visit each high school about a week after classes begin to distribute registration materials and answer questions. Approximately a week later, they will return to collect completed forms and payments.
Your deadline to register and pay is the day that forms and payments are collected at your school. Your school counselor should know your deadline a couple of months before classes begin. The deadline for each school is also announced and distributed in the first meeting at each school and published on the College Now website, www.herkimer.edu/collegenow/dates/index.htm.
To register to take an HCCC class in high school through College Now, by the deadline given for your school, you must:
- submit a completed Registration form signed by you, your parent or guardian, and your guidance counselor;
- submit a notarized Certificate of Residence form (or, if you live outside Herkimer County, a Certificate of Residence from your County Fiscal Officer); and pay tuition.
Forms may also be obtained from high school counselors' offices and the College Now website, www.herkimer.edu/collegenow/forms/index.htm.
Students who wish to register for 12 credits or more (full-time) in one semester should contact the College Now office at 315-866-0300, ext. 8212 or collegenow@herkimer.edu. |
