Post Your Job Announcements
The HCCC Career Center is a member of the Central New York Recruiting Consortium (CNYRC). As such employers wishing to recruit our students may register at www.cnyrc.com and post their jobs electronically.
By posting through CNYRC your listing will automatically go to all member institutions and reach thousands of students and alumni. Membership institutions include: Herkimer County Community College, Mohawk Valley Community College, SUNY IT and Utica College.
On-Campus Recruitment
Individual Recruitment Sessions
Employers who have recruitment needs throughout the year are encouraged to contact the Career Center to arrange an individual recruitment day. Utilizing individual recruitment days, as well as attending Job Fairs, will increase the visibility of your company among HCCC students and alumni.
Part-time Job Fair
Are you looking to fill part-time positions? If so, consider attending the Part-Time Job Fair held in September. This fair is an opportunity for local employers to meet with current HCCC students who are interested in part-time employment while continuing their education.
Career Fair
The Career Center hosts a Career Fair in March or April for the purpose to connect graduating seniors with local and regional employers who have full-time positions. It is our hope that employers will be conducting interviews throughout the day at this Career Fair. Employers are also encouraged to discuss part-time, seasonal and internship opportunities
