Career Counseling Services

The Career Center provides free comprehensive services to Students and Alumni, as well as Employers. Students and Alumni may schedule individual appointments for career counseling, which may include career assessments, assistance with developing a job search plan, resume critique, and/or mock interview. Additionally, students and alumni are encouraged to register on our job posting board at http://www.herkimer.edu/jobs to learn about positions with local, regional and national employers. Students and alumni are also encouraged to take advantage of the professional development programs that are offered on campus each semester.

The Career Center offers a variety of ways for Employers to recruit HCCC students and alumni. Individual recruitment sessions on campus may be scheduled or employers are welcome to participate in our Part-Time Job Fair during the fall semester or our Career Fair in the spring semester. Employers are encouraged to register their company with our job posting board at http://www.cnyrc.com to be able to post and manage job listings 24/7.
