Herkimer Women's Soccer

The Program

The Herkimer County Community College women’s soccer program has become a powerhouse in Region III with a 293-89-17 record since 1985, including regional championships in 1985 and 1988 under Tom LaPuma and in 2005 under Amy Brelinsky. Herkimer enters the 2007 season with a 46-game conference unbeaten streak, dating back to October of 2000.

The 2003 season marked the first year of divisionalized women’s soccer in the NJCAA. Herkimer now competes in Division III with other non-scholarship schools, while the programs providing scholarships are aligned as Division I. Herkimer, and all other non-scholarship schools, had previously been competing for Regional and National championships with programs that offered financial assistance to athletes.

Regional Champions: 1985, 1988, 2005
