Awards and Accomplishments
2006 Awards

Freshman Dana Gentile had 38 goals and 26 assists for 102 points in 18 games for the fall 2006 season. She was selected First Team NJCAA and NSCAA All-American (2006), First Team All-Conference Team (2006), First Team All-Region (2006), and NJCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Co-Player of the Week (September 2006).
Senior Eileen Coyle, Oneonta, had a total of 72 goals and 22 assists for 166 points in 40 games during her two years playing women’s soccer for Herkimer. During her senior season, she had 43 goals and 15 assists for 101 points in 19 games. Her awards while at Herkimer include:
-First Team NJCAA and NSCAA All-American (2005 and 2006)
-Region III Player of the Year (2005 and 2006)
-NJCAA Division III, Region III Player of the Week (2006)
-Region III Female Athlete of the Week (October 2006)
-Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year (2005 and 2006)
-First Team All-Conference (2005 and 2006)
-HCCC’s Green and Gold Club (September 2006)

Stepheney Gerhardt playing for Coastal Carolina University
Stepheney Gerhardt ('05), from Ilion, played soccer at Herkimer County Community College for two seasons. An NSCAA First Team All-American both seasons with the Generals, Gerhardt was the only player in Herkimer history to be a two-time All-American in women’s soccer. She also was the Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year her freshman season and a two-time All-Region and all-conference first team selection. She was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2004. Gerhardt also played lacrosse for the Generals, and was a First Team All-Region selection her freshman season.

Gerhardt is the daughter of Wayne Gerhardt and Holley Bachorik and is a physical education major at Coastal Carolina.
