Herkimer Men's Basketball
The Program
Since capturing the NJCAA Division III National Championship
in March 1991 under Head Coach Jack Alofs, the HCCC men's basketball
program has been on a roller coaster of success. Previous coaches
Dave Pasiac, Scott Fallon, Pete Pannes, Scott Chandler and Troy Tucker
all have directed the program to varying levels of success in the 12 years
following the 1991 title. In the last five years, the Generals have worked
hard under the leadership of Head Coach Matt Lee to reclaim the lofty regional
and national status they achieved from the mid-80's through the 1990-91 season.
In 2006, 2007 and 2008, the team had overall records of 23-9, 24-8 and 26-7, respectively,
and was the runner-up in the Region III tournament each year.
