October 26, 2006 - Governor George C. Pataki has reappointed James D. Accattato, Frankfort, to the Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees for a term expiring June 30, 2013. Since his initial appointment to the Board in October 1997, Accattato has been instrumental in advising HCCC on housing-related issues, based on his experience in real estate management. In addition to his service as a member of the Board of Trustees, Accattato also serves on the HCCC Housing Corporation Board. more...

October 6, 2006 - Students enrolled in music performance classes at Herkimer County Community College will learn first-hand jazz vocal styling, basic musicianship, and music professionalism from nationally renowned jazz recording artists and educators who will visit the HCCC campus on October 12.  Following a day of master classes with HCCC students, HCCC invites the community to campus for an evening of jazz. October 4, 2006 - Donations to benefit the Officer Joseph D. Corr Scholarship at Herkimer County Community College will be accepted at soccer games played at Wehrum Stadium on Friday, October 6. At the Corr family’s request, all donations received will be contributed to a scholarship fund at HCCC, established in memory of Officer Corr.
